Histology Technician Frontage Clinical Services IncHistology TechnicianExton, PAEducation/Experience Requirements: Education/Training of the Histology Technician must meet CLIA personnel qualification requirements for high-complexity testing (42 CFR Part 493), as applicable; The Histology Technician must hold either an associate degree in a chemical or biological science or medical laboratory technology, or bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology, from an accredited institution; The Histology Technician must be eligible to be certified Histotechnician (HT), Histotechnologist (HTL) through ASCP (please see ASCP Board of Certification webpage for eligibility requirements). Active ASCP certification as an HT or HTL is preferred; The Histology Technician must be able to differentiate color on stained slides and ensure proper staining technique; Previous at least 3 months of hands-on Histology Technician experience is required for Histology Technician holding an associate degree; Previous more than one (1) years of hands-on Histology Technician experience in a CLIA and/or CAP histology lab setting is preferred.
