In this role, you will provide direct patient care, contribute to the assessment of patient needs, recognize changes in patient condition, obtain medical histories, assist providers during examinations and procedures, administer medications and treatments, provide and reinforce patient education, and support continuity of care. Recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies, including initiating CPR/BLS, using an AED, providing basic airway support within training, implementing seizure safety measures, and assisting with emergency response until EMS or a higher level of care is available.
