Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 300 unit - surgical, ortho, medical, may get heparin 'main unit' - more cardiac focused, stepdown type of acuity - post cath, post pacemaker, post PCI, TAVR day 1 or greater, CABG day 1 or greater, sepsis, resp distress - Drips: amiodarone, heparin, cardizem, fixed rate insulin*** nitro, dopamine (only for renal dosing).
