OB Hospitalist Physician Position Summary: As part of the Ob Hospitalist clinical team, an Ob Hospitalist embraces delivering a quality OB Hospitalist program. Position Responsibilities:<ul><li>Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including but not limited to providing contraceptive services (at hospitals that provide contraceptive services)</li><li>Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal Fetal Medicine support may only be available by telephone or video consultation</li><li>Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds</li><li>Serve as the 'Safety Officer' on Labor and Delivery to ensure that all patients, regardless of their primary admitting clinician, have the safest possible outcomes</li><li>Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance as requested including practice coverage as requested and as safely available</li></ul>Shifts:<ul><li>24-hour shifts (majority)</li><li>Some 12-hour or mixed-shift models</li><li>Full-time clinicians typically work 5-9 (24-hr) shifts per 28-day block</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Health, Life, Vision, Dental</li><li>401k w/ profit share contribution & Roth option</li><li>Malpractice - Covered with unlimited tail coverage (lifetime)</li><li>CME:<ul><li>$2,000 Annual Stipend toward</li><li>ACOG/ACOOG membership dues</li><li>ABOG/AOBOG certification maintenance</li><li>Subscriptions, License fees for state licensure on OBHG assignments & more!</li></ul></li><li>Clinicians are eligible for coverage with a shift commitment of 5 shifts per 28-day block</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Board Certified or Active Candidate Ob/Gyn Physician</li><li>Licensed to practice medicine in the state of assigned site</li><li>Highly relational, able to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with all stakeholders (Hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and OBHG corporate staff)</li><li>Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care (preferred)</li></ul> #PM #PL
