INTRODUCTION TO ROLE As a Bartender, you will be responsible for setting up the bar area, preparing and mixing beverages, serving customers, and maintaining the bar's cleanliness. Benefits eligibility: Full-time roles are eligible for Health benefits, 401K, and property discounts WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR <ul><li>Excellent customer service attitude; displays helpfulness and friendly demeanor </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Proven superior customer service experience </li><li>Must be able to stay focused on a task for long periods; be alert </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li></ul>WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON <ul><li>Check guests' identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases. </li><li>Operate the cash register, accept cash and credit card payments, and accurately count and provide change to customers when applicable. </li><li>Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting the sale to those intoxicated. Order taxis or other means of transportation for intoxicated patrons. </li><li>Operate in compliance with federal, state, and local law requirements for serving alcohol. </li><li>Greet customers and take beverage orders from restaurant servers for guests. </li><li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as ordered promptly and in compliance with company standards. </li><li>Perform shift opening and closing duties as directed. </li><li>Present menus, take orders, and serve food to guests seated at the bar. </li><li>Clean, sanitize, and maintain the bar area, including counters and equipment. </li><li>Prepare garnishes and stock, and replenish beverage and garnish supplies as needed. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>Provides regular and reliable attendance. </li></ul>WHAT YOU BRING <ul><li>Must be 21 + years of age </li><li>Education </li><li>Experience </li><li>License/Certifications </li></ul> WHAT IT TAKES (PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 25 pounds.
