When guests rave about their stay, it's often thanks to you and your team.</p><h1><strong>What you bring to the table</strong></h1><ul><li>Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.</li><li>Embody the resort's service standards in a way that leaves team members and guests telling their friends all about us.</li><li>You create a culture of care, leading a housekeeping team that's all about doing great work and lifting each other up.</li><li>You help the team shine by making sure training, schedules, and expectations are clear-and you're always ready to roll up your sleeves alongside them.</li><li>You stay on top of inventory (think: linens, amenities, supplies) and keep things running smoothly so your team has what they need when they need it.</li><li>You're a partner-not just to your own team, but to Front Desk, Maintenance, and other departments to keep operations seamless and guests happy.</li><li>You bring a positive presence to guest interactions and encourage your team to do the same.</li><li>You keep an eye on quality and cleanliness by inspecting rooms and common areas, assigning deeper cleaning projects when needed.</li><li>You also keep an eye on the budget, helping manage labor costs, spending accounts, and monthly reports.</li><li>Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)</li></ul><h1><strong>Must-haves, nice-to-haves, and maybe some bonus points</strong></h1><ul><li>A warm, friendly leadership style that builds trust and teamwork.</li><li>Experience leading housekeeping operations in a hotel or similar setting (3–5 years preferred).</li><li>A solid grasp of budgeting, inventory tracking, and scheduling.</li><li>Strong communication skills-written, verbal, and interpersonal.</li><li>Comfort using technology, including property management systems (PMS).</li><li>Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting and make thoughtful decisions.</li><li>High school diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.</li><li>Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.</li><li>Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.</li><li>Must pass and remain in compliance with drug-free workplace policies.</li></ul><h1><strong>Physical stuff to know</strong></h1><p>We've included the typical physical parts of the job here. You'll be on your feet most of the day, moving between guest rooms, back-of-house areas, and offices. Expect to lift and carry items, walk up and down stairs, and pitch in with physical tasks when needed.
