Job Type Full-time, Part-time Description Host - Cashier - Elko *Housing options available after 90 days* The Restaurant Host / Cashier will meet and greet customers at the door and assign seating to assure maximum guest satisfaction; thank guests as they exit. Assist in cleaning and resetting of tables and help servers as needed. Answer telephone in a pleasant and professional manner; responsible for cash register monies. Workes In this role you will: <ul><li>Greet guests in prompt courteous manner and assign seating on a rotating basis, seeing that all service personnel receive an equal number of covers. </li><li>Distribute menus and give a brief description of specials. </li><li>Continuously monitor each table to assure that they receive quick service. </li><li>Monitor all tables for proper settings. </li><li>Inspect sections for cleanliness when closing a section, clean and reset tables as needed. </li><li>Ensure the dining room is clean and presentable at all times. </li><li>Answer telephone in a polite and professional manner. </li><li>Receive, return and manage cashier's change fund. </li><li>Keep cashier/hostess station net and organized. </li><li>Accept guest payments, process credit card charges and make change. </li><li>Ensure menus are current, clean and in good condition. </li><li>Perform related and/or other duties as required. </li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience with cash handling, preferred. </li><li>Six months experience in a cashier or hostess position, preferred. </li><li>Ability to speak and write English fluently. </li><li>Maintain a clean uniform and personal appearance. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills. </li><li>Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision. </li><li>Must be a team player with the desire to assist all co-workers. </li><li>The ability to memorize daily specials and answer questions concerning casino promotions. </li><li>Posses basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register. </li><li>Actively promote and personally observe safety and security procedures, and use equipment and materials properly. </li></ul>Team Members Will Enjoy:<ul><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Flexible schedules </li><li>Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance </li><li>Short-Term/Long-term Disability Insurance </li><li>Education Reimbursement up to $5,250 annually </li><li>401k plan </li><li>Employee meal discount program </li><li>And more! </li></ul> Maverick Gaming, based in Kirkland, Washington, is a young gaming company with over 3,000 dedicated team members.
