Ensures that staff assignments are carried out according to the Plan of Care, plans for appropriate numbers and levels of staff, promotes and evaluates quality of care and cost effectiveness, ensures efficient distribution of services, ensures patient documentation is complete and timely, and participates in policy and program development. The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
