As a Guest Service Host, you are the heart of the guest journey — welcoming families, guiding them through our contactless hotel experience, and turning simple moments into magical memories.If you’re energetic, love talking to people, enjoy making kids laugh, and aren’t afraid to be a little silly to brighten someone’s day, this is the role for you!Our team members average a 3-year tenure — and it’s easy to see why. We bring the fun every single day.<h2>What You’ll Do</h2>As a Guest Service Host, you will:<ul><li>Warmly welcome and acknowledge guests upon arrival</li><li>Efficiently perform guest check-in and check-out procedures</li><li>Assist guests with reservations, kiosk use, key redemption, and general inquiries</li><li>Prepare arrival documents (key cards, welcome materials, etc.)</li><li>Ensure all guest registration details are complete and accurate</li><li>Handle room keys in accordance with hotel procedures</li><li>Coordinate with Bell/Valet and Housekeeping teams to ensure smooth arrivals</li><li>Recommend hotel amenities, dining outlets, and park offerings</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and kiosk area</li><li>Handle minor guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary</li><li>Follow Lost & Found procedures and safeguard guest property</li><li>Utilize operational systems including Kiosk, ALICE, Opera, VingCard, radios, and Google Nest</li><li>Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required</li></ul>You’ll also help:<ul><li>Make kids laugh with jokes, dances, or playful interactions</li><li>Answer guest questions (even the repetitive ones!) with enthusiasm</li><li>Help families feel right at home from the moment they walk in</li></ul><h2>What We’re Looking For</h2>Our ideal candidate is:<ul><li>Friendly, outgoing, and full of positive energy</li><li>Great with children and families</li><li>Confident, warm, and approachable</li><li>Comfortable being playful and engaging</li><li>Professional in appearance and demeanor</li><li>Reliable, flexible, and a true team player</li><li>Able to stay on their feet and active throughout the shift</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>Must be 18 years or older</li><li>Previous customer service experience required</li><li>Full availability, including weekends and holidays</li><li>Must be fully flexible - 8.5-hour shifts and may fall between 7:00 AM – 11:30 PM and vary based on hotel needs</li><li>Comfortable standing and moving throughout the day</li></ul><h2>Safety & Compliance</h2>All team members must follow Health, Safety & Security policies in compliance with ASTM, NEC, NSF, OSHA, and Merlin Entertainments standards.
