    Job Summary:  We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. Your main responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, and guiding guests to their tables in a timely and efficient manner.   Key Responsibilities:  <ul><li>Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter the restaurant. </li><li>Manage reservations using a booking system (e.g., OpenTable or similar). </li><li>Maintain an organized waitlist and provide accurate wait times. </li><li>Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and introduce their server. </li><li>Answer the phone and respond to inquiries about the restaurant. </li><li>Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff regarding seating flow. </li><li>Ensure the host stand and entry area are clean and presentable at all times. </li><li>Assist with opening and closing duties as needed. </li></ul>   Qualifications:   <ul><li>Previous customer service or hosting experience preferred, but not required. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor. </li><li>Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. </li><li>Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus. </li></ul>   Physical Requirements:   <ul><li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. </li></ul>   What We Offer:   <ul><li>Competitive hourly wage + tips (if applicable) </li><li>Opportunities for advancement </li><li>Employee discounts </li><li>A supportive and team-oriented work environment </li></ul>
