This role requires a strong focus on hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to create a warm, memorable dining experience in the comfort of the guest’s space. As an on-call position, shifts are assigned based on business needs, often during peak periods, weekends, holidays, and special events. Typical shifts are 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Promptly deliver in-room dining orders according to established service standards and presentation guidelines. </li><li>Greet guests warmly, using their name when possible, and provide a brief description of menu items and accompaniments. </li><li>Set up in-room dining tables/trays professionally, ensuring correct presentation of food, beverages, and condiments.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of the current menu, daily specials, wine list, and promotional offerings.</li><li>Accurately record and relay special requests or dietary needs to the kitchen. </li><li>Ensure timely pick-up of trays, carts, and used service ware from guest rooms and corridors. </li><li>Handle all food and beverage transactions in accordance with cash handling and point-of-sale procedures.</li><li>Communicate any guest feedback or service opportunities to management promptly. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the in-room dining area, pantry, and equipment. </li><li>Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards. </li><li>Assist with other food & beverage service needs during off-peak hours when directed</li></ul>Education & Experience<ul><li>Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience preferred, ideally in a luxury hotel, resort, or private club. </li><li>Knowledge of proper food handling, wine service, and fine dining etiquette is a plus.</li></ul>Schedule & Availability<ul><li>6:00am-10:30am; shifts assigned based on operational needs. </li></ul><ul><li>Must have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Pay: $16-$20 per hour</li><li>Uniforms provided</li></ul>

Other duties may be assigned. <ul><li>Directs and trains hotel staff engaged in painting, performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings and carrying out basic electrical and plumbing tasks and preventive maintenance. </li><li>Directs and trains hotel staff engaged in ground maintenance activities, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse. </li><li>Directs and trains staff engaged in the general cleaning and up keep of hotel buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing windows. </li><li>Directs and trains staff assisting other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies. </li><li>Inventories, requisitions and purchases tools, equipment, and supplies according to purchasing guidelines. </li><li>Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. </li><li>Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. </li><li>Interprets company policies to staff and enforces safety regulations. </li><li>Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. </li><li>Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of staff. </li><li>Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists staff in solving work problems. </li><li>Initiates or suggests plans to motivate staff to achieve work goals. </li><li>Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. </li><li>Supervises and performs activities of maintenance department. </li><li>Runs errands for supplies and drives as necessary to meet business needs </li></ul>Responsible for following all KHC policies and procedures as set forth in the KHC handbook and property specific guidelines/standards. These policies include dress code, safety and performance standards. Employees must also maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled. Directly supervises 1-8 employees in the Maintenance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. All employees must follow proper safety precautions at all times to avoid injuries. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, grasp or type; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or twist; and to push, pull or lift over 10 pounds.
