Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and a drive to provide the best service possible.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Greet and tend to guests in a positive and friendly manner.</li><li>Maintain a constant presence at the front desk.</li><li>Process check-ins and check-outs.</li><li>Complete required shift-specific checklist.</li><li>Handle billing, post charges, and collect payments.</li><li>Manage room availability, create reservations, and answer phone calls.</li><li>Possess general knowledge about the local area.</li><li>Anticipate guest needs, recognize issues and respond in a timely manner.</li><li>Effectively communicate with guests and other staff members.</li><li>Coordinate with housekeeping staff for room status and guest requests.</li><li>Manage security of guest information, keys, and cash drawer.</li><li>Comply with IHG standards and promote brand loyalty.</li><li>Ensure cleanliness of front desk and lobby areas.</li><li>Multitask and prioritize work duties for maximum efficiency.</li><li>Maintain a professional appearance through dress and demeanor.</li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Preferred customer service experience.</li><li>Preferred experience in the hotel industry.</li><li>Ability to stand for 8 hours (accommodations can be made for all ADA qualified candidates).</li><li>Availability to include weekends.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.</li><li>Computer literacy.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p>Health insurance benefits are available to full-time employees.</p><p>Spacious suites with full kitchens.
