The APD will provide leadership in resident education, faculty development, clinical operations, resident assessment, recruitment, scholarly activity, quality improvement, and program development while maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with residents, faculty, service chiefs, hospital leadership, affiliated clinical sites, and the FAU Office of Graduate Medical Education. The APD will assist in the educational, clinical, administrative, and operational leadership of the residency program, including curriculum development, resident education and evaluation, clinical and operative experience, scheduling and rotation management, recruitment, faculty engagement, scholarly activity, quality improvement, patient safety, resident wellness, and ACGME/ABS compliance.
