This role is responsible for helping the business teams understand and follow Company policies, regulatory requirements, and our compliance program. The Vice President provides expert guidance on strategic initiatives, day-to-day operations, and leads the monitoring and assessment of changes in the regulatory landscape, with a strong focus on preventing, detecting, and addressing fraud, waste and abuse (FWA). This leader promotes a culture of integrity and accountability and ensures compliance risks are proactively identified and addressed. This position reports to the SVP, Chief Compliance Officer. Job Description: ​ Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or timespent) Act as a trusted advisor to our business teams providing strategic guidance and support on compliance-related matters, including regulatory and policy requirements, potential issue spotting, and implementation of processes, controls, and risk mitigation activities. Propose innovative solutions to achieve business objectives, enabling risk-based decision-making within ethical boundaries and optimizing business performance. Serves as a subject matter expert in health care compliance including, but not limited to FWA, Medicare & Medicaid billing requirements, and interactions with healthcare professionals. Partner with our business teams to integrate compliance considerations into strategic planning, decision- making processes, and new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate values and objectives.
