NPC&M is seeking an experienced Commercial Working Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. This full-time, field-based role places the candidate at the project location at all times, overseeing the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects across our service areas. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of experience supervising commercial construction projects, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and on-time delivery.<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations for commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to NPC&M quality standards.</li><li>Project scheduling of vendors and subcontractors.</li><li>Maintain daily communication and reporting to the Project Manager(s) on project status, progress, and issues.</li><li>Coordinate plans and layout of the overall project.</li><li>Provide daily field reports and progress photos documenting work completed.</li><li>Coordinate with clients and customers as needed throughout the project.</li><li>Enforce OSHA safety standards and site safety protocols at all times.</li><li>Complete miscellaneous carpentry and related tasks as needed to support project assignments.</li><li>Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications and drawings.</li></ul><h2>Requirements | Skills</h2><ul><li>Minimum of 10 years’ experience supervising commercial construction projects (Required).</li><li>Experienced commercial carpentry skill sets (Required).</li><li>OSHA 30 training certification (Required).</li><li>Excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Dependable transportation and valid driver’s license; travel to project locations required.</li><li>Availability to work Monday through Friday, with weekend and overtime availability as project needs dictate.</li><li>Availability for projects that may require work to be completed during off hours.</li><li>Computer skills: MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, Procore, Adobe, among others.</li><li>Qualified candidates are required to complete a criminal background check and drug testing.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications | Experience</h2><ul><li>Unrestricted Construction Supervisor’s license certificate (Preferred).</li><li>OSHA 30 training certification (Required).</li><li>Driver’s License (Required).</li><li>Experience in supermarket or retail commercial construction (Preferred).</li></ul><h2>Compensation</h2><ul><li>Annual salary: $75,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experience.</li><li>Performance-based paid incentive.</li></ul><h2>What We Offer</h2><ul><li>Monthly vehicle allowance.</li><li>Monthly cell phone allowance.</li><li>2 weeks paid vacation after the first year of service.</li><li>8 paid holidays.</li><li>Participation in simple IRA retirement plan.</li><li>Company health, dental and vision insurance.</li><li>Travel compensation – outside of the local area.</li><li>Company Training Programs – training reimbursements.</li></ul><h2>Location:</h2><ul><li>Remote – candidate is expected to be at the project location at all times.</li><li>Ideally, candidate should be based in Massachusetts area.</li></ul><h2>Employment Type</h2><ul><li>Full-Time</li></ul><h2>NPC&M</h2>National Property Consulting & Management (NPC&M) is a full-service commercial construction and facility management firm with over 45 years of experience delivering first-class projects throughout the United States.
