Collects data systematically and purposefully from a variety of sources including, direct observation of nursing practice, nurses and the inter-professional healthcare team, professional organizations, regulatory agencies, consumers, healthcare experts, health-related trends, key stakeholders, and legislative venues. Under general supervision, develops clinical expertise and offers educational programs directed at expanding and enhancing nursing and ancillary staff knowledge and clinical practice.
