This role acts as the final escalation point for the monitoring, maintenance, and restoration of critical subsea optical paths, providing expert-level troubleshooting for complex physical-layer anomalies—including shunt faults, fiber attenuation, and Power Feed Equipment (PFE) instabilities—to ensure rapid service restoration during Priority 1 and Priority 2 events. By driving deep-dive Root-Cause Analysis (RCA), managing high-stakes coordination with marine maintenance vessels, and spearheading proactive network grooming, this position serves as the critical bridge between Subsea Engineering and Real-Time Operations.
