You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams. The ideal candidate is state-licensed and has at least two years of experience. Responsibilities <ul><li>Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable</li><li>Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have</li><li>Take vital signs and accurately record medical history</li><li>Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection</li><li>Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments</li><li>Teach good oral hygiene techniques</li><li>Take x-rays</li><li>Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation</li><li>Current Mississippi Dental Hygienist licensure</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines</li><li>Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li></ul>
