Overview:
The Graphic Design Associate role offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in graphic design within a dynamic sports marketing environment. You will gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects that directly impact fan engagement and brand visibility. By collaborating with multiple teams, you will enhance your teamwork and communication skills while learning to manage design projects from concept to final delivery. Additionally, you will become proficient in adhering to brand guidelines and using content management systems, preparing you for a professional career in marketing, design, or related fields. This role will also provide valuable insight into the intersection of sports, marketing, and media, making it an excellent foundation for your future career. This position is directly responsible for the creation of URI Athletics and Ryan Center Marketing collateral and social media designs in relation to ticket sales, team promotions, special events, and more. May assist on larger branding projects such as facility branding or sport-specific venue enhancements. Works collaboratively with the URI Athletics Marketing department staff head and/or contributing staff to realize a final product. This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. This position will remain open August 14, 2026.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, social media graphics, sales collateral, signage, internal communications, and marketing materials.</li><li>Enhance URI Athletics’ image through creation of high-level graphic design images and following the URI Athletics Brand Guide.</li><li>Keep up with current trends in graphic design to keep the URI Athletics brand at a peak level of brand recognition.</li><li>Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on the Athletics Marketing department's content management system.</li><li>Keeps all information confidential.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>High-level creativity and design skills. </li><li>Experience with Adobe Photoshop. </li><li>Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite. </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Desire to continue building a skill set.</li><li>Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud applications (i.e., InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc.). </li><li>Proficiency with photo editing software.</li></ul>

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an opening for an Advanced Graphics Specialist in Bloomington, MN. Duties and Tasks:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Prepares technical illustrations, design procedures, graphics, photography, printing and digital delivery</li><li>Creates and implements original, new graphics designs and contributes to graphics projects</li><li>Ensures accurate representation of company logo and brand elements</li><li>Interprets guidance in customer proposal preparation instructions and configures tools for proposal teams</li><li>Supports proposals and ensures compliant graphics are created for proposals</li><li>Analyzes and evaluates a variety of factors such as visual interpretation, layout to increase understanding and clarity of message, graphic creation and editing tools, as well as an understanding of current business trends.</li><li>Serves as a subject matter expert to senior leaders and teams of graphics staff creating and producing a major project at times using multiple media.</li><li>Develops graphics solutions to complex problems</li><li>Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends</li><li>Interacts with internal and external personnel at various levels on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations</li><li>Participates and often presents at meetings with internal and external representatives</li><li>Works collaboratively with resources external to the functional or project team</li><li>Defines and communicates clear roles, responsibilities, and objectives for all team members</li><li>Assignments are defined in terms of activities and objectives</li><li>Interprets and follows policies, processes, and procedures for self and project teams</li><li>Will be part of a three-member team (Engineer, Writer, and illustrator)</li><li>Will work with Engineer and Technical Writer to develop branding that creates a highly polished, professional set of documents, briefings, and slides that help communicate value to stakeholders while improving the readability and adoption of the Architectures at a technical level.</li><li>Must possess expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator) and Microsoft PowerPoint. Familiarity with MagicDraw (Cameo) Models and other tools a plus.</li><li>Will be responsible for designing and modifying vector images and illustrations in accordance with the ASE Graphic Standards Guide.</li><li>Will ensure, along with the Technical Writer, that all documentation and key briefings are professional and of high quality.
