Daily duties of this position are to provide top of the line services for the individuals on the team while providing quality service to the customers we provide a variety of services for. This is a hands-on position. Many employees have $0 monthly medical insurance premiums.</li><li>Dental, vision, life and array of other insurance plans to choose from.</li><li>Employee Assistance Program.</li><li>Vacation, sick leave and extended sick leave plus holidays and floating holidays</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Obtain access to the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to complete Personnel Security responsibilities.</li><li>Coordinate efforts for in/out processing of all personnel with the JITC Security Office.</li><li>Answer non-technical questions regarding personnel security policies and procedures.</li><li>Conduct Information Security program oversight which includes document marking, safeguarding, need-to-know, physical storage, transmitting, transferring, reproducing, downgrading, and destruction of classified information.</li><li>Serve as alternate lock and key control officer which requires compliance inspection ensuring personnel meet current directives, policies, and regulations regarding use and accountability of locks and keys.</li><li>Ensures lock and key inventories are accurate and up to date.</li><li>Process all organizational Visitor Authorization Requests (VARs) via DISS or hardcopy</li><li>Maintain control and accountability records of JITC campus keys under the key and lock control system.</li><li>Conduct and document reoccurring facility and campus checks, which include internal and external areas of the JITC campus and parking areas.</li><li>Coordinate visitor and permanent facility badging and access control to include eligibility verification.</li><li>Conduct and document Random Antiterrorism Measures (RAMs)</li><li>Process building access credentials for DISA JITC employees and visitors</li><li>Provide back-up monitoring of the organizations Electronic Security System (ESS); including the camera system, Intrusion Detection System and access control points.</li><li>Perform general clerical duties</li><li>Complete all training as required</li><li>Complete and submit Monthly Status Reports (MSRs)</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>SCHEDULE</strong>: 40 hours per week, from 07:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday with an hour break for lunch.</p><p><strong>Because we participate in the AbilityOne program, preference will be given to individuals with a documented disability.</strong></p><p><strong>We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we encourage all qualified persons with disabilities and veterans to apply. Responsibilities:
<p style="margin:0px">Peraton is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to help our Federal Customer onsite at Fort Huachuca, AZ. </p><p style="margin:0px"> </p><p style="margin:0px">• Responsible for the day to day operations of conducting routine IA Audits on all Information Systems (IS) to ensure the appropriate IA security controls have been applied and maintained<br/>• Evaluate IS for compliance in accordance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) 800-53 Controls and Special Directives<br/>• Assist with the continuous monitoring of RMF packages within eMASS (POA&Ms, Test Results, Risk Assessments, etc.)<br/>• Record and/or prepare artifacts associated with the audit to ensure a repository for all system RMF documentation is kept current<br/>• Provide Certification and Accreditation (C&A) support in the development of security and contingency plans by conducting risk and vulnerability assessments<br/>• Use the 800 Series NIST Special Publications as reference for C&A, system security plans, risk assessment, and other security requirements<br/>• Create, edit, and review organization and team level documentation for clarity and accuracy and assist with development of security related TTPs, SOPs, processes, plans, or diagrams<br/>• Use automated security scanning tools (SCAP, ACAS, Tychon, etc.) to identify potential vulnerabilities<br/>• Analyze and report findings to technical teams and leadership for appropriate tracking and mitigation<br/>• Research RFIs from technical teams regarding DISA STIG checklists, and DOD/Army regulations<br/>• Explain requirements to systems administrators in detail to ensure proper understanding and clarity<br/>• Review proposed courses of action from technical teams and recommend the most secure option while balancing operations and/or mission requirements<br/>• Assist in the identification, tracking and remediation of security risks discovered on information systems<br/>• Prepare and deliver detailed written reports and oral presentations to the Security Manger, Information Assurance Manager and other senior leaders or staff within the organization<br/>• Coordinate with both internal and external entities to improve established processes and procedures; ensuring efficient execution of all analysis, tracking, mitigation and reporting requirements<br/>• Coordinate directly with cross functional teams and management to resolve all compliance issues<br/>• Support and/or lead special projects as required<br/>• Complete other duties as assigned by management</p>

Target Salary Range:
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
