Under general supervision, perform a variety of skilled field inspections and office work involved in the enforcement of codes and regulations regarding building installations; to inspect new construction, remodeling, and repairs to determine compliance with the Citys building code; to review plans and specifications to determine compliance with City codes; and to enforce City building codes. Special Requirements: Essential duties require the following physical skills and work environment: Ability to sit, stand, walk, run, kneel, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, twist, and climb.
