The Electrical Inspector, in efforts with the Building Safety team, perform a variety of inspections of buildings and properties to ensure compliance with (inclusive of however not limited to) the City of Amarillo Municipal Code, adopted National Electrical codes, and the International Code Council (ICC) codes. While practicing workplace and inspection safety requirements, as set forth by the City of Amarillo, performs inspections on residential and commercial buildings, mobile homes, signs, and various energized structures.
