Applies appropriate survey technology/equipment as conditions require (i.e. GPS equipment, total station, etc.); Collects topographic features, etc. for preliminary design work; Establishes survey control for - public works construction and improvement projects; Verifies staking and layout of each phase of projects in association with plans and blueprints; Drafts plans and profiles of projects and reproduces and plots drawings for utility comments, in-house review and contract bid openings.
