This includes preparing work orders, deficiency reports, check-lists, and certification reports.</li><li>Operating/maintaining company vehicle.</li><li>Communicates with ARK team members to effectively pursue company goals of certifying alarm systems according to acceptable standards and practices.</li><li>Presents themselves in a positive, professional manner and per company policy.</li><li>Communicates with customer concerning the importance, operation and status of their fire alarm system.</li><li>Supervises Assistant Tester to ensure proper certification of the sprinkler systems.</li><li>Customer satisfaction.</li><li>Performs minor repairs of the above referenced equipment.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>3-5 years’ experience within the fire protection industry.</li><li>Familiar with various alarm systems, test equipment, communications equipment.</li><li>Valid driver’s license.</li><li>Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required, sponsored by ARK.</li><li>NICET II in water-based fire protection systems.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs</li><li>Must be willing to work at heights</li><li>Must be able to operate electrical tools</li><li>Must be able to differentiate color coding of cables</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at times</li></ul>Join Us: If you are looking to build your career in the fire alarm systems industry and contribute to a team-oriented environment, we invite you to apply.
