The Intern Mental Health Professional must be enrolled in a graduate program in psychology, social work, nursing, education or any other graduate degree in the field of human services, plus two years’ experience in like system or be a licensed RN with 5 years psychiatric experience plus certification by the office of Mental Health as a Family Based worker or enrollment in an OMH approved Family Based Training Program, or a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology , social work, nursing or any degree in the field of human services plus certification by the office of mental health as a family based mental health worker. The Intern: Family Based Mental Health Professional will provide family therapy, individual, group or other treatment modalities or interventions within the home, school, and community as necessary to maintain the family in a stable home condition; The Family Based Mental Health Professional will serve as the lead therapist within the team.
