Responsibilities:Possess thorough knowledge of all facets of client's business to ensure client understanding of engagement economics and to provide frequent updatesActively communicate progress of engagements, problems, and resolutions to clientsContinuously improve specialty area knowledge and educate team on new audit practices and processesManage billable hour budgets and follow up when team is over/under to determine causeLead multiple auditing and accounting projects and client engagements simultaneouslyDelegate and manage audit and accounting assignments to achieve accurate and efficient productResearch and identify complex audit issues and recommend creative solutions with the input of key stakeholdersBuild challenging developmental plans for all team members and evaluate resultsManage billable hour budgets and follow up when team is over/under to determine causeAssume responsibility for and provide direction and coaching to audit teamGenerate new business for firm through community involvement, networking, and professional events/committeesDevelop and sustain excellent client relationships, owning the relationship end-to-endCelebrate individual and team accomplishments and be part of recruiting new and experienced staffProvide effective performance feedback and on-the-job trainingContribute to performance management to help assess readiness for promotion of staff and senior levelsRequirements:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years recent audit experience at a public accounting firm, that includes experience in working with technology related companiesCPA CertificationSuccessful experience in developing new or extended service opportunities with existing and/or prospective clientsStrong oral and written interpersonal skillsEffective analytical and problem-solving abilityExperience in hiring, developing and leading a team of professional auditors#LI-EG1#LI-HybridWHY YOU SHOULD JOIN USWe believe that when our employees are able to thrive in all facets of life, their work and impact are that much greater.
