This role provides an opportunity for students to receive technical training and acquire hands-on experience. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions:<ul><li>Engages in practical training while planning to continue their education, involving the execution of one or more of the following responsibilities under the guidance of South Texas College technical staff. </li><li>Collaborates with technical staff to assist in the adoption of technology standards, guidelines, and procedures based on industry best practices and compliance requirements. </li><li>Performs web research and/or design of websites/application. </li><li>Performs systems analysis. </li><li>Review current programs/applications and may do additional programming for current applications. </li><li>Configures desktop, Audio Visual (AV) and network hardware. </li><li>Works closely with technical staff to ensure college's technology is operational. </li><li>Evaluates assigned work projects and exercises judgment in prioritizing projects under supervision. </li><li>Attends meetings and conferences as directed. </li><li>Use computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> Required Education and Experience 1.
