Carolina Core FC is seeking a driven, creative, and detail-oriented Merchandise Intern to join our team. This is a hands-on opportunity to experience the full scope of merchandising within professional sports- from product creation to match day retail- while seeing how merchandise serves as a powerful driver of community, connection, and culture. This role is designed for someone who wants more than just an internship. It's an opportunity to gain well-rounded, real-world experience across all levels of the merchandise business, working alongside a team that is building something meaningful both on and off the pitch. This internship is unpaid and offered for class credit. What You'll Do <ul><li> Assist in inventory management and allocation across retail channels, including stadium, activations, and e-commerce </li><li> Support product development, from early concepts and inspiration to final execution and launch </li><li> Research trends and contribute to seasonal planning and merchandising strategy</li><li> Help coordinate and execute matchday retail, pop-up shops, and fan-facing activations</li><li> Assist with store merchandising, displays, and visual presentation across all retail environments </li><li> Collaborate with the marketing team on product storytelling and promotional campaigns</li><li> Support Shopify and e-commerce operations, helping ensure a seamless online shopping experience </li><li> Provide customer-facing support on matchdays and at activations, helping create a memorable fan experience </li><li> Contribute to day-to-day operations of the Merchandise and Retail team, gaining exposure to both strategy and execution</li></ul>What We're Looking For <ul><li> Strong attention to detail and organizational skills </li><li> Interest in apparel, design, retail, or sports merchandising </li><li> Self-starter with a creative mindset and positive, team-first attitude </li><li> Ability to work matchdays, nights, and weekends as needed </li><li> Familiarity with Shopify, Canva, or Excel is a plus </li><li> Alignment with our CORE values: Collaborative, Community Driven, Development, Accountability, and Bold Ambition </li></ul>We're looking for individuals who hold themselves to a high standard, are eager to learn, and want to fully invest in an experience that will help them grow and succeed in this space.
