Performs a variety of tasks to safely maintain equipment and support operations; • Tests, calibrates and validates process safety devices and equipment; • Responsible for data analysis and collaboration with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems; • Follows all company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures; • Installs and maintains electrical equipment associated with power distribution systems and electrical safety code, applying technical skills, proficiency and technical leadership in the following areas: Electrical Switchgear, Instrumentation, Measurement, Motor Controls, Control Loops, Distributive Control Systems, Allen Bradley PLCs, AC electrical systems and DC electrical systems; • Acquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets; • Maintains general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and compliance; • Troubleshoots, operates, repairs and maintains mechanical and electrical systems including both low and high voltage equipment and uninterruptible power supply systems; removes, repairs and reinstalls sensing elements for flow, temperature, pressure and level measurement; • Other duties as assigned. Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and proficient/advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.
