Description<div><div><div></div>IDEA Intern  Mission:The Intern supports IDEA’s mission by contributing to day-to-day team operations, project execution, and administrative priorities while developing foundational professional skills in a collaborative work environment. Location:This is an onsite position based in the RGV.  Travel Expectations:     Travel to IDEA training events or step-back may be required. What You’ll Do – Accountabilities Essential Duties:<ul style="margin:0pt;padding-left:0pt"><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Support assigned team with daily operational, administrative, and project-related tasks.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Assist with organizing, tracking, and maintaining information relevant to team priorities.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Prepare summaries, reports, presentations, or materials to support team initiatives.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Support special projects and follow-up activities as assigned.</li></ul> Additional Duties and Responsibilities:<ul style="margin:0pt;padding-left:0pt"><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Support campus/APO with student recruitment and enrollment</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Support in classrooms, lunch duty, pickup drop off etc. </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Campus events support </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Technology support depending on campus process (pick up/check in of </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">devices) </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Summer School support  </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Front Office support (copies, phone, attendance, parents, etc.) </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Support lead team with data reports across departments when needed</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Assist with preparing power points or designing power points for </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">meetings/presentations. </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Support with information systems (if applicable) </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Organize documents/files across different campus departments</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Support with testing </li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Support lead team with textbook inventory, ordering, and distribution</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 10pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Other duties as assigned by Assistant Principal of Operations</li></ul> Knowledge and Skills – Competencies<ul style="margin:0pt;padding-left:0pt"><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:11pt;line-height:115%;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.85pt;padding-left:9.15pt;text-indent:0pt">Make Strategic Decisions: This team member makes informed decisions by gathering reliable information, asking clarifying questions, and evaluating multiple options.
