As a Medical Interpreter, you will facilitate communication among individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP), service providers, and staff.*Must be able to attend In-Person Appointments in the Fargo/Moorhead area*Essential Functions:<ul><li>Remain sensitive to cultures associated with the language of expertise.</li><li>Provide sight translation of documents as required.</li><li>Adhere to interpreter standards of practice and code of ethics.</li><li>Provide education to individuals and providers/staff on culturally specific values, beliefs, and practices that are relevant to the encounter.</li><li>Relay concepts and ideas between languages.</li><li>Thoroughly understand medical terminology and other subject matters to convert source language to target language effectively.</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>PRN or as needed.
