Minimum Qualifications: Education: An earned master's degree in interpreting, interpreter education, Deaf education, Deaf studies, ASL, linguistics, communication sciences and disorders, education, or a closely related field is required for appointment in the Instructor series; an earned doctoral degree in one of these fields or a closely related field is required for appointment in the Professor of Instruction series.
