The Parts Warehouse employee is responsible for receiving and shipping parts, maintaining and organizing the warehouse, and delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership. Receive and inspect incoming parts, ensuring they are in good condition and verifying packing slips for inventory control.

Parts Warehouse Classification Non-Exempt Job Summary: The Parts Warehouse employee is responsible for receiving and shipping parts, maintaining and organizing the warehouse, and delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership. Essential Functions: <ul><li>Receive and inspect incoming parts, ensuring they are in good condition and verifying packing slips for inventory control.</li><li>Pack and ship parts efficiently to customers and suppliers.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all shipments, damages, shortages, and other necessary inventory documents.</li><li>Stock parts in their designated locations after verification.</li><li>Operate a forklift.</li><li>Keep warehouse bins, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and clearly labeled.</li><li>Assist the Warranty Administrator and Inventory Coordinator as needed.</li><li>Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.</li><li>Maintain a daily log of deliveries and pick-ups, obtaining recipient signatures for verification.</li><li>Unload the truck nightly, submit all paperwork, and return undelivered parts.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Preferably one year of experience in parts or warehouse operations.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Good organizational skills.</li><li>Basic computer skills preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with company-specific software is a plus.</li><li>Drivers must have at least five years of driving experience.</li></ul> Physical Requirements: <ul><li>Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.</li><li>Full range of motion in arms for reaching and handling tools and parts.</li><li>Prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting required.</li><li>Ability to push and pull using wrenches and other tools.</li><li>Must be able to climb onto and operate equipment.</li></ul> Work Environment: <ul><li>Primarily indoors around moving equipment and heavy trucks.</li><li>Possible exposure to extreme weather conditions when working outdoors.</li><li>May encounter loud noise, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and rotating equipment.</li><li>May require the use of common protective or safety equipment.</li><li>Work may include cramped spaces or high places.</li></ul> The Parts Warehouse employee must perform all essential duties efficiently and accurately, with or without reasonable accommodation, without posing a safety risk to themselves or others.
