In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the specialized experience listed below: GS-13 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes at least two of the following: 1) Directing or supervising operations of an engineering and technical staff engaged in comprehensive quality assurance oversight and construction contract administration; OR 2) Conducting or overseeing quality assurance inspections, contract modifications, or plan/specification reviews for heavy civil works projects including dredging, navigation, flood protection, hurricane risk mitigation, or water resource development. Related curriculum - Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelors degree in an appropriate scientific field, e.g., engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, may be accepted in lieu of a degree in engineering, provided the applicant has had at least 1 year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance.
