The janitor is responsible for performing custodial duties to ensure that buildings/facilities/venues are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The successful candidate must acknowledge the risks associated with hazardous chemicals and be willing to review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to identify hazards to determine.

<p><strong>Summary of Role</strong></p><p>The janitor is responsible for performing custodial duties to ensure that buildings/facilities/venues are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The Janitor will work closely with the Night Janitorial Lead. Teamwork and a positive attitude with strong work ethics are essential. Must have a smart device and be able to work in the US and be able to pass a background check. </p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Clean and Care for buildings and facilities to ensure they are maintained according to contractual standards:</li><li>Clean Offices/Meeting Rooms/all accessible spaces</li><li>Sweep, mop and vacuum floors</li><li>Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors and dispensers</li><li>Refill all soap dispensers and restock all paper products</li><li>Empty all garbage and or recycling as required by the contract</li><li>Dust and wipe down surfaces including desks, chairs, counters, fixtures and cubicles </li><li>Clean kitchens/sinks/countertops/outside of appliances and or additional cleaning as required by contract</li><li>Follow safety protocols when using cleaning supplies and cleaning chemicals </li><li>Perform all daily, weekly and monthly duties</li><li>Support special projects and quarterly work as assigned</li><li>Perform all duties as assigned </li></ul><p><strong>Additional Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Secure Storage areas and offices that require to be locked after services are performed</li><li>Ensure Cleaning Materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner</li><li>Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies</li><li>Report on all safety violations, improper usage of company property and environmental concerns</li><li>Report all injuries or incidents to the Night janitor Lead immediately </li><li>Make a note and or notify the Night Janitor Lead of equipment repairs and or replacement as needed</li><li>Notify Night Janitor Lead of any duties that need to be performed outside of your daily scope of work. </li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications and Skills: </strong></p><ul><li>Ability to Learn New Processes    </li><li>Time Management - Reliable (Attendance)      </li><li>Min 1 year of janitorial experience </li><li>Experience in floor care (Strip and Waxing)</li><li>Valid Driver's License with clean record</li><li>Problem-Solving skills</li><li>Effective verbal and listening skills, attention to detail</li><li>Work with or without direct supervision and team player</li><li>Commitment to excellence and high standards</li></ul><p><strong>Physical and Sensory Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, operate equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Must be comfortable working at heights and able to safely climb and work from ladders.</li><li>Ability to withstand odors emitted by cleaning materials and chemicals while using proper PPE.</li><li>The successful candidate must acknowledge the risks associated with hazardous chemicals and be willing to review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to identify hazards to determine</li><li>appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) prior to use.</li></ul><h3>Cleaner/Janitor Job Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Must be able to read product safety data sheets, labels and instructions in English</li><li>Must have a high school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Must have proven working experience as Cleaner/Janitor</li><li>Must be able to respond and act quickly</li><li>Must have strong communication and multitasking skills</li><li>Must have knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies</li></ul><p>A Facilities Maintenance Company focused on you!<br/>Del Sol, Inc has been a thriving business for almost 30 years.
