Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist II Profession: Medical Laboratory Scientist Specialty: Transfusion Medicine Service Duration: Full-time Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 10 hours (9:30 PM – 7:30 AM) Experience: - Two years of experience if holding an Associate's Degree with MLT certification - Two years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Biological Science with ASCP categorical certification - No experience required with a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Lab Science and MT/MLS certification License: - MLT (ASCP) or MLT (AMT) certification for those with an Associate's Degree - ASCP categorical certification for those with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Biological Science - MT/MLS (ASCP) or MT/MLS (AMT) certification for those with a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Lab Science Certifications: - Required certifications as listed above Must-Have: - Blood bank testing experience including Type and Screen, Antibody Identification, DAT, Eluate, Phenotyping, and Antigen Typing. Demonstrates advanced competencies in producing accurate laboratory test results, including all levels of CLIA-outlined testing and problem-solving.
