Checking collection dates on processed DSAs in holding refrigerators and disposing of them in a timely manner; Performing cleaning of laboratory areas and equipment; Assistance with intake patients; Reception duties - including but not limited to checking patients in, communicating with other departments, answering phones, and assisting with the general flow of the clinic; and, Perform other duties as assigned. The Laboratory Technician is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results according to the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, and reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.
