Your Job Our Georgia-Pacific Leaf River Cellulose Facility in, New Augusta, MS, is currently recruiting for a Quality Lab Technician. This individual will perform final product testing, verify sample properties, and take the necessary corrective action when the product is out of specifications. This position will work a 12-hour rotatingshift, and the starting pay is $23.64 per hour . What You Will Do <ul><li> Adhere to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures </li><li> Sample and test baled and rolled fluff pulp according to procedure and schedule </li><li> Input quality data, verifying accuracy and reporting results with a strong sense of urgency </li><li> Perform calculations, enter data, assign quality, and communicate results and issues </li><li> Perform quality inspections of the fluff line throughout the rolled fluff production process </li><li> Verify test accuracy and reporting inconsistencies to supervisor </li></ul> Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) <ul><li> One or more years of experience working in a lab environment; college/university labs apply to this requirement </li><li> Experience using Microsoft Office programs </li><li> Experience working with and analyzing numerical data </li></ul> What Will Put You Ahead <ul><li> Three (3) or more years' experience working in a lab environment </li><li> Associates degree or higher in a science or mathematics discipline </li><li> Experience performing equipment operation, maintenance, and calibrations for a Quality/Industrial lab discipline </li><li> Experience working rotating shifts </li></ul>At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs. Resinall Corp currently has an opening for a QC Lab Technician I. This is an entry level shift position in the Resinall Hattiesburg Laboratory that serves all the analytical aspects of in-process, finished products, raw materials, and other required samples. The Laboratory Technician tests samples, evaluates data for accuracy, and reports results. The Technician will focus on becoming proficient in basic testing requirements.
