Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills with the ability to function independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities; excellent interpersonal skills; and have broad experience with administrative processes including State & Health Research, Incorporated (HRI) personnel and procurement policies, State budgeting processes, and experience in a public health regulatory or laboratory setting. Or: a bachelors degree in bacteriology, biochemistry, biological sciences, biology, chemical sciences, business administration, chemistry, environmental biology, environmental sciences, environmental toxicology, genetics, medical technology, microbiology, molecular biology, public administration, or public health AND three years of professional administrative experience described above in a laboratory that tests clinical specimens or environmental samples, or a hospital, clinic or physician practice.
