Associate degree in chemical or biological science or medical laboratory technology, obtained from an accredited institution, or 60 semester hours or equivalent (as verified by Quality Assurance Manager or Director), including 24 semester hours of science courses that included 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology in any combination. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
