Job position summary: As an integral member of the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center's laboratory and under the supervision of the Medical Director, Laboratory Director, Laboratory Manager, and the Section Supervisor the MLT will perform some or all of the following duties: phlebotomy, clinical laboratory testing in hematology, urinalysis, general microscopy, transfusion medicine, serology, bacteriology, coagulation, chemistry, blood gases to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A Bachelor's degree in a biological science and completion of an MT program from an accredited college OR an Associate's of Science degree and completion of an MLT program from an accredited college.
