p>Responsible for the operational processes of Laboratory Services including coding, billing, reimbursement, medical records, personnel/HR, operational and capital budgetary processes, patient registration, and charge master review/update.

Directs the business and financial affairs of the laboratory by employing a system of accountability to ensure responsible fiscal management including accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and timely reporting.

p>The Laboratory Manager is responsible for all aspects of departmental operations, including clinical operations, administrative functions, regulatory compliance, budget and fiscal accountability, strategic planning, process improvement, employee engagement, personnel management and service excellence. He/she must be able to provide and understand the specific communication, developmental and treatment needs of patients, families and visitors ranging in age from neonate-birth to geriatrics.

As a Laboratory Technologist (MLT), you'll play a critical role in performing high-complexity testing, ensuring lab accuracy, and maintaining compliance-all while being a trusted member of our clinical support team. Meets CLIA, CMS, and COLA requirements for high-complexity testing: Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; OR.

li>Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots all equipment in assigned section(s) to keep in good working order; makes minor repairs and adjustments when necessary; initiates and follows through with Biomedical Engineering/equipment manufacturer for safety checks and repairs; schedules preventive maintenance within section with Biomedical Engineering, equipment

manufacturer, or an outside contractor.

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from a regionally accredited college/university or Education that has been evaluated by an acceptable credentialing agency and deemed equivalent to a US Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.

Description: The intern will assist the Non-Metals TX-56 group in establishing "best practice" guidelines for sample preparation, maintenance, and analysis results for various equipment (Scanning Electron Microscope, X-Ray, etc.). In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, clinical Certified Laboratory Assistants (CLA) or Completion of a 50-week U.S. military medical laboratory training course as shown on the DD214 form qualify with certificate instead of Associate degree (with MLT certification). Instructs students, new team members, laboratory support staff, and hospital personnel in procedure, technique, and theory.
