At Thomas & Hutton, you'll work alongside experienced survey professionals collecting critical field data that supports engineering, design, and construction projects. What You'll Do: <ul><li>Work as part of a two- to three-person survey crew assisting with a variety of land surveying activities </li><li>> </li><li>Assist with boundary, topographic, construction staking, and other field surveys </li><li>> </li><li>Operate and assist with survey equipment including robotic total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors </li><li>> </li><li>Carry supplies, hold equipment, drive stakes, and assist with clearing survey lines as needed </li><li>Record field measurements and assist in maintaining accurate survey documentation </li><li>Maintain and transport survey equipment safely to and from job sites </li><li>Coordinate with the survey crew and project teams to complete assignments efficiently and accurately </li></ul>What You Bring:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>> </li><li>Prior experience working in an outdoor environment preferred </li><li>> </li><li>Previous land surveying experience preferred </li><li>> </li><li>Experience with Carlson SurvCE, robotic total stations, and Trimble GPS equipment a plus </li><li>> </li><li>Valid driver's license required (this position requires driving) </li><li>> </li><li>Strong math skills and attention to detail </li><li>> </li><li>Written and verbal communication skills </li><li>> </li><li>Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when required </li><li>> </li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to perform strenuous physical activity in a wide range of temperatures and outdoor work environments </li><li>> </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time </li><li>> </li><li>Ability to climb hills and walk long distances across varied terrain </li><li>> </li><li>Ability to traverse wooded areas, construction sites, and undeveloped land </li><li>> </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds </li><li>> </li><li>Ability to work in environments that may contain venomous snakes and insects such as ticks, red bugs, wasps, bees, hornets, and yellow jackets </li><li>> </li></ul>Why Thomas & Hutton?<ul><li>Competitive salary plus performance bonus </li><li>Condensed work schedule for better work-life balance </li><li>Top-tier health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage </li><li>401(k), generous PTO, holidays, and tuition assistance </li><li>Thomas & Hutton University training programs </li></ul> Schedule: A regular schedule of Monday-Thursday 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., plus overtime as needed How to apply: Ready to design the future?
