You’ll cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and prepare and deliver proposals, contracts and presentations. You’ll also: </div><ul><li>Manage and oversee all phases of site development and civil engineering projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction assistance.</li><li>Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to deliver high-quality project outcomes.</li><li>Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports related to grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and site layout.</li><li>Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules while ensuring adherence to client expectations and technical standards.</li><li>Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, attending client meetings, and identifying new project opportunities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes.</li></ul><div><strong>What It Takes</strong></div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin or Illinois, or ability to obtain within 6 months.</li><li>5+ years of progressive experience in civil/site development engineering, including project management responsibilities.</li><li>Proven track record managing land development, commercial, industrial, or municipal projects.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, roadway design, and utility systems.</li><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and client relationships simultaneously.</li></ul><div><strong>What You’ll Get</strong></div><div>You’ll have the opportunity to grow professionally at a progressive firm that’s been improving communities since 1973.
