This role requires a strong balance of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship management to expand the client base, increase revenue, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.</li></ul><p/><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p/><p><b>Business Development & Sales</b></p><ul><li>Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.</li><li>Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for installation projects outside the Maintenance book of business.</li><li>Develop customized proposals and sales presentations that address client needs and highlight company value.</li><li>Negotiate and close contracts in alignment with company pricing standards and profitability goals.</li></ul><p><b>Client Relationship Management</b></p><ul><li>Build strong, long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers.</li><li>Work with Client and BV Team to transition final installation to a long-term Maintenance Partner.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle and ensure a smooth transition to operations teams post-sale.</li><li>Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and drive retention.</li></ul><p><b>Market Awareness & Industry Engagement</b></p><ul><li>Stay informed on local market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify new opportunities.</li><li>Represent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagements.</li><li>Leverage market intelligence to position the company as a preferred partner for landscaping installation solutions.</li></ul><p><b>Collaboration & Reporting</b></p><ul><li>Partner with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and service delivery.</li><li>Review large scale ($1M or greater) jobs with senior leadership (SVP) and collaborate with Branch Manager and Enhancement Manager on all opportunities up to ($1M)</li><li>Work with branch and senior leadership to set annual sales goals, budgets, and strategies.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and results using CRM systems.</li></ul><p><b><i>           </i></b></p><p><b>Education and Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).</li><li>3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management, or related service industries.</li><li>Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals.</li><li>Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.</li><li>Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting.</li></ul><p/><p><b>Physical Demands/Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Regular local travel to client sites, industry events, and networking opportunities.</li><li>Office-based activities including proposal development, client follow-up, and team collaboration.</li><li>Ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling.</li><li>Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur.</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li></ul><p/><p><b>Work Environment:</b></p><ul><li>Works in an indoor office and outdoors during construction site walks or project evaluations</li><li>Requires occasional evening and/or weekend networking events or meetings.</li></ul><p/><h3></h3><h3><i>BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.</i></h3><h3><i>This job description is subject to change at any time.</i></h3></div><p style="text-align:inherit"/><p style="text-align:left"><b><i>BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
