Duties may include:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;padding-left:51px"><li>Requesting, summarizing and organizing medical records and bills</li><li>Assisting with filing various court documents</li><li>Communicating with clients </li><li>Drafting and editing documents</li><li>Correspondence, file management and maintaining calendars and deadlines </li><li>Primarily responsible for providing support for two (2) attorneys on a daily basis</li></ul>This position requires:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;padding-left:51px"><li>Knowledge of medical terminology</li><li>Strong proofreading and organizational skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, staff and clients</li><li>Strong customer service focus and skills</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and perform well in stressful situations</li><li>Ability to use good judgement in solving problems and resolving conflict</li><li>Excellent attendance</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Ability to prioritize work and flexibility with schedule (occasional overtime may be required)</li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred</li><li>Two year Associate's degree and/or prior legal assistant experience required</li></ul>Hourly Rate:<ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li>The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.</li></ul>Work Schedule:<ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li>Office-based position</li><li>Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm / 40 hours per week</li><li>Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines</li></ul>Perks and Benefits:<ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li>Generous Paid Time Off and 10 Paid Holidays</li><li>Retirement Plan and Profit Sharing Plan</li><li>Employer paid Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Long-Term Disability </li><li>Modified summer hours</li><li>Cafeteria Plan </li><li>Opportunity to be a part of an excellent team of attorneys and staff</li></ul> #hc228333
