Our attorneys specialize in auto and property damage subrogation as well as credit card and collections recovery. We are looking to add a 1+ year litigation associate to our subrogation team to work full time in our Cocoa office. Subrogation experience is required and transactional debt collection is preferred. Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, trials, and settlement agreements. 4. Represent the firm in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations. 5. Conduct depositions of witnesses and experts. 6. Collaborate with team members to develop effective case strategies. 7. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. 8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry standards related to subrogation. 9. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations. Qualifications: 1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the Florida State Bar. 3. Minimum of 1 years of experience in subrogation litigation 4. Proven experience managing subrogation claims. 5. Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills. 6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. 7. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail. 8. High level of professionalism and integrity. 9. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite. 10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders. 11. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. 12. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
