Speaks Law Firm is seeking an experienced high volume Personal Injury Case Manager (Paralegal) to join our Wilmington team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Maintain effective communication with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, and other professionals.

<strong>Paralegal Case Manager – Personal Injury</strong><br/>Location: Wilmington, NC | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Full-Time, Exempt<br/><br/><strong>Speaks Law Firm</strong> is seeking an experienced high volume<strong> Personal Injury Case Manager (Paralegal) </strong>to join our Wilmington team.  Candidates must have at least two (2) years of experience working with a high volume of personal injury claims in NC. <br/><br/>No phone calls or recruiter inquiries.<br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong><ul><li>Maintain effective communication with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, and other professionals</li><li>Demonstrate key performance indicators and drive tasks to completion</li><li>Communicate daily with insurance and health adjusters regarding policies, PIP logs and statement coordination</li><li>Monitor client medical treatment</li><li>Assist clients with scheduling of doctor's appointments and transportation if applicable</li><li>Verify client's insurance coverage</li><li>Request client records from health care providers</li><li>Understand subrogation liens and disputing unrelated charges</li><li>Complete balance sheets accurately reflecting Rule 414 payments/adjustments</li><li>Routine client communication regarding treatment, scheduling, wage loss, etc.</li><li>Act as liaison between client and adjusters regarding property damage coverage</li><li>Send requests for information including medical records and billing</li><li>Assist lead case managers with identifying and investigating conflicts of interest</li><li>Collaborate with dedicated case managers, legal assistants, and balance clerks</li><li>Organize and maintain client files in Neos CMS</li><li>Other duties as assigned by management</li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><br/>Required:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Two (2) plus years of experience working with NC personal injury claims</li><li>Passion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Intermediate computer skills</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and colleagues</li><li>Must be able to work on-site from 8:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Associate's degree or higher preferred</li><li>Paralegal certificate a plus</li><li>Needles/Neos experience a plus</li></ul><strong>Compensation:</strong><br/>The is an exempt salary position and is eligible for an incentive plan. Competitive salary range depending on experience and qualifications.<br/><br/><strong>Why Join Speaks Law Firm?</strong><br/>At Speaks Law Firm, we don’t just manage cases—we help people rebuild their lives.
