We work tirelessly to advocate for our members, for homeownership for all, and to elevate the real estate industry in the Sunshine State.Who We’re SeekingWe seek an experienced Legislative and Regulatory Counsel to serve as the principal legal and policy advisor for the Association’s public policy efforts. This role is based in the Tallahassee Office of Public Policy, reports to the onsite Senior Vice President of Public Policy, and functions as the equivalent of General Counsel for legislative and regulatory matters, with responsibility for analyzing and tracking state-level legislation, trends, and political developments that impact the real estate industry. This role has an emphasis of being onsite in our Tallahassee office.The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the legislative process, with the ability to research and synthesize complex legal and policy issues into actionable guidance for Association leadership. This individual will develop data-driven policy recommendations and support the Association’s advocacy strategy through written analysis, bill drafting, and engagement with lawmakers and regulators.The Legislative and Regulatory Counsel will serve as a key communicator and liaison to Florida’s Legislative and Executive branches, lobbyists, industry partners, REALTOR® members, and the internal Law & Policy team members in the Association's Orlando HQ. Effectively conveying the Association’s policy positions and legal priorities to a range of audiences is essential.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Establishes and maintains positive contact with members and employees of the Florida Legislative and Executive branches of government, lobbyists, and other professional, legal, or trade groups</li><li>Keeps informed on proposed and recently enacted legislation and regulations that affect the real estate industry</li><li>Researches and analyzes regulatory activities and political issues that affect the real estate industry. Develops supportive data for Florida Realtor’s policy decisions regarding their issues</li><li>Actively participates in formulation, presentation, and management of Association positions regarding pending and enacted legislation as well as pending and adopted agency regulations, and litigation. Position Summary:
The Backstage Catering Captain is responsible for supporting the Backstage Catering Manager in fulfilling all pre-planning and day of show catering needs outlined in tour hospitality riders for upcoming shows. Responsiblites is to assist the backstage catering team with seemless execuction of all backstage needs within all performing arts venues. This will include preparation for upcoming shows, and playing an active role in the setup of all catered meals,dressing rooms, etc. They will oversee the backstage catering area, ensuring it is properly prepared and stocked to meet touring artists’ and crews’ expectations. This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00-$25.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until June 5, 2026.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist with pre-show planning by reviewing hospitality riders, helping create estimates, and gathering necessary supplies.</li><li>Oversee and perform day-of-show backstage catering setup, service, and breakdown, including buffets, dressing room setups, bus stock, and related hospitality areas.</li><li>Read, interpret, and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Hospitality Riders.</li><li>Ensure all artist and crew hospitality requirements are fulfilled according to production riders and event specifications.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked catering and hospitality area at all times.</li><li>Lead by example with a positive, professional, and service-oriented attitude.</li><li>Coordinate with the head chef, production managers, and venue staff to execute catering timelines accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Create menus cards with all dietary restrictions and allergies.</li><li>Anticipate needs and troubleshoot issues quickly during live event timelines.</li><li>Adapt to shifting priorities, remaining calm and effective under pressure.</li><li>Work independently with minimal supervision; self-governed and self-motivated.</li><li>Apply strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills to support all backstage catering operations.</li><li>Demonstrate a basic understanding of catering operations, hospitality needs, and backstage event support.</li><li>Comply with all food safety and responsible alcohol service policies.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience in catering, hospitality, events, or live entertainment preferred.</li><li>Flexible availability, including long days, early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business need.</li><li>Punctual with consistent and reliable attendance.</li><li>Must be able to maintain composure and professionalism around high profile artists.</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with touring personnel and team members.</li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).</li><li>Food Safety Certification and Responsible Alcohol Service Certification required (or willingness to obtain).</li></ul>
