This position offers you the opportunity to practice with a dedicated and highly trained staff of five primary care physicians. In this outpatient setting, you will have a set Monday-Friday schedule where you’ll be able to focus entirely on primary care with a geriatric population. Our client takes an active approach to promoting a collaborative and inclusive workplace by investing in professional development and culture initiatives ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li> Perform and coordinate due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports and underlying documents.</li><li> Assist in preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documents. </li><li> Coordinate closing of successful real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financings, debt and equity transactions; create and manage signature page packages and delivery of all documents and deliverables; confirm contents of appropriate closing checklists; handle recording requirements at closing; and create and assemble closing books with detailed indices.</li><li> Prepare, review and file UCC financing statements.</li><li> Order and evaluate UCC, lien, litigation and similar searches.</li><li> Handle entity formation and maintenance along with related filings.</li><li> Review and assemble officer's certificates, resolutions, organizational documents and other closing deliverables (familiarity with drafting such deliverables based on precedent and under attorney supervision preferred).</li><li> Work on special assignments that may require conducting routine fact or legal research, preparing reports and handling associated filings.</li><li> Interface with firm clients and other outside entities regarding assigned matters.</li><li> Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li> Minimum of 5 years of real estate experience required, preferably in a law firm setting, an in-house legal department or a title company.</li><li> Large and sophisticated transaction experience is preferred. Title and survey proficiency is required.</li><li> Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision are essential.</li><li> Must have superior client service and communication skills.</li><li> Must have the ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.</li><li> Must have the ability to interact and work productively with all levels of lawyers, paraprofessionals and business services team members.</li><li> Must demonstrate strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.</li><li> Ability to maintain discretion and privacy with confidential matters and documents.</li><li> Ability to recognize and comprehend facts and legal concepts.</li><li> Strong computer technical skills and demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.</li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF creation tool(s), document management software and Elite or other timekeeping software is required.</li><li> Ability to work overtime as needed.</li></ul> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li> Bachelor's or Associates Degree required or Paralegal Certificate and equivalent experience.</li><li> Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.</li></ul> PHYSICAL DEMANDS <ul><li> This position is generally performed in a professional office setting; 70% sitting, 20% standing, and 10% walking</li><li> This position routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops, computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, in a home office as well as an in-person office environment.</li><li> Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds.</li></ul> Our client is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability/Vet.
